Thankamma Kutty (89), beloved mother of Aji Kaleekkal and a member of St. Mary’s Orthodox Valiyapally in Prakkanam, Thumpamon Diocese, peacefully entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 1, 2025, in Bardonia, NY.
She had been under hospice care for a week due to a respiratory illness.
At 2:50 PM on November 1, she passed away at home, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Relatives and neighbors came to offer their condolences, including priests, church members, and representatives from various community organizations such as FOKANA, FOMA, HVMA, HUDMA, the ICHAA Club, Nurses Associations, coworkers, and friends. They remember her as a brave and compassionate woman whose faith and kindness touched the hearts of many.
She is survived by her children – Lincy, Dolly, Jessie, Saji & Aji and their families:
