Calgary Mother Teresa Community has been active since a month ago on the field with relief works for the people of Calgary, who continue to be in lockouts in fear of the Corona-virus. To coordinate the COVID-19 relief works, a special disaster management committee has been formed which includes members of the Parish Council, the Knights of Columbus, and the Parish Trustees, who are actively functioning here under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Sajo Jacob. In addition to it, twenty-four hours of special helpline has been established. Everyone who requires economic, health and spiritual needs can contact the number 587 917 2461. All the arrangements for providing urgent needs and special assistance to all the new immigrants and international students, who have lost their jobs due to lockout, are in place. Daily prayers for protection from the Coronavirus are being offered by the members of the community for the entire world.
